This course will:
- cover the purpose of assessment
- provide an opportunity to reflect on current assessment procedures
- explore the relationship between formative and summative assessment
- introduce participants to a range of strategies for assessment of substantive and disciplinary knowledge
- provide an opportunity for participants to explore resources that support the moderation of primary science assessment judgements and apply these to the learning taking place in their own school.
