This session will empower practitioners to use positive behaviour strategies when managing children’s behaviour. It will consider why we need to support children in resolving conflicts, think about the characteristics of and sources of conflict for young children and introduce the problem-solving approach to conflict resolution. We will also investigate ways of promoting positive behaviour through policy and practice.
