I was Headteacher at Whybridge Junior School from January 2010. From 1st September 2017, the school converted to Academy status within the Hornchurch Academy Trust that currently consists of 3 schools.

I am the CEO of the Hornchurch Academy Trust and led the conversion process in establishing the Trust with partner schools by working with the DfE, RSC and LA. This includes experience of all legal implications involved in creating an Academy Trust, from the application process to the HTB to managing transitions between being a community school and an Academy in the post conversion process such as dissolving a Governing Body and recruiting/appointing Members and a Board of Trustees.
