Headteacher

Scotts Primary School

Willing to Mentor: , Deputy / Assistant Headteacher, Teacher, Aspect leaders, Subject leaders,

I have been in the teaching profession for 10 years and have worked in Havering since 2007-working in 3 local primary schools. In 2014, I joined Scotts as a KS2/Maths lead and since then I have progressed to my current role as Headteacher. My current roles includes:

• Line managing staff in the absence of HT

• Monitoring standards and achievement across the school

• Assessment

• KS2 Phase leader

• Performance management

• Routines and timetables

• Gifted and talented provision

• Teaching and learning- JPCD(Joint Professional & Collaborative Development)

• Y6 transition & secondary links.

I also teach in Y6 (1.5 days per week) and in Y1 (0.5 days per week).

Staff find me approachable and forthcoming as I try to consider the views/concerns of all members associated with Scotts and as I still teach 2 days a week I can relate to some of the issues that may occur within the school. I also run the extended opportunities program at Scotts which enables other local primary schools to attend maths workshops-this is for all abilities. I have also been part of the Havering moderation team for the past 3 years.
