I am currently assistant head of the PE department. Over the past 10 months I have been acting head of department as maternity cover as well.

I have been able to:

• Teach KS3 and KS4
• Work closely with SEN pupils
• Undertake NPQML course due to finish in May 2018
• Mentored student teachers
• As well as the day to day running and managing of a department, staff, interventions and curriculum.

I have also set up the Duke of Edinburgh Award for pupils which has provided a great deal of experience for dealing with difficult challenges, organising trips and leading staff.
