To lead the school’s Inclusion Provision

To assist the head teacher in the organisation, management and development of the school, carrying out specific duties, including responsibility for the inclusion agenda and all pupils who fall within this area (SEND, EAL, Pupil Premium, High Attainers)

To fulfil the key responsibilities of the SENDCO outlined in the SEND Code of Practice

To carry out teaching duties as required (through discussion with the head teacher)

To be responsible for promoting and safeguarding the welfare of children and young people within the school and be part of the Safeguarding team and Senior Management

Senco Accreditation completed November 2014 with IOE (Institute Of Education University of London) Postgraduate Certificate in Special Education Needs Co-ordination

TLA (Teaching Learning Academy) Recognition for Level 2 (June 2014) an Associate Member of the Teaching and Learning Academy (AMTLA) in partnership with Canterbury Christ Church University.
